8oz Bookkeeper Deacidification Sprayer
The Bookkeeper deacidification system is based on a buffering substance (magnesium oxide), applied via spray to the paper to be protected. This buffer not only neutralizes pre-existing acidity but also leaves an alkaline reserve that can neutralize any new acidity if it arises.
The pH of the treated materials is approximately 8.0 - 9.5. Accelerated aging tests show that this method can extend the lifespan of treated paper materials by 3 to 5 times. The Bookkeeper system does not strengthen the paper or remove yellowing, but it delays the degradation caused by these phenomena. It contains no water, is not aggressive to inks, and its components are neither dangerous, toxic, nor flammable.

Independent tests carried out by major research laboratories have verified the safety and effectiveness of the Bookkeeper process. The tests show that the buffering agent is evenly distributed throughout the entire sheet of paper, does not affect the integrity of inks, and does not damage adhesives or binding fabrics.

Bookkeeper products are non-toxic, non-hazardous, and do not contain CFCs or solvents. The products do not cause blockages, have virtually no odor, and dry within minutes.
MODE OF USE:
Shake the Bookkeeper bottle well before use. Apply a small, even amount while holding the dispenser approximately 15 cm from the paper surface. Repeat the application on the other side if the paper is a bit thick. Do not reapply.
It is recommended to apply the product to the reverse side of: Watercolors, engravings, charcoal, etc.
